5 minutes, 5 questions with Anastasia

We were so excited when we heard we were going to have a chance to interview Anastasia Soare.....yes that Anastasia. The eyebrow guru to the stars.

Christine wanted to ask if she would come to DC and do our eyebrows. Jenn thought that would be a bit much and the woman probably gets asked that a million times a day.

So here is our 5 minutes, 5 questions with Anastasia....

What is the ideal shape for eyebrows?

The ideal shape for eyebrows is an individual process because it involves creating a brow shape that is in accordance with the individuals natural bone structure.

What's the one mistake most women make when it comes to their brows and what can they do to fix it?

It's funny because this was the same mistake in 1989 as is now, over tweezing. The best way to "fix" over tweezing to learn to stop picking at your brows daily and let them grow out . Once they are grown see a professional first to set the same and follow up at home with the use of the brow kit.

All of the products are just amazing. Is there one product in particular that you think every woman should have?

My tweezers because they are the best on the market and I am a strong believer that whatever the "task" may be the right tool can make it 100% easier. My tweezers are stainless steel and have calibrated tension and that creates precision tweezing with the tip one hair at a time.

What three beauty products can you not live without?
Brow gel, Tweezers, Powder

What's the best piece of beauty advice you've ever received?
To cut my bangs, it opened up a whole new world for me. I always had a huge forehead which made me self conscious.

A big thank you to Anastasia for taking time out of her hectic schedule to answer our questions. If we ever make it out to Beverly Hills, her salon will definitely be on the top of our must-see list (Christine is determined to have Anastasia perform magic with her eyebrows).
