look we're totally stealing for fall

Straight from the pages of the September Lucky, which we tend to pour through and dog ear (or yes label) almost every page once it arrives.

The look that we're seriously dying over?

Sexy, low, side-parted, wavy hair, a la Veronica Lake, and a deep-berry (think crimson) red lip.

How you you get the waves?

For sexy hair...use mousse for light control and hold and blow dry your hair. Once hair is dry, use a larger barrel curling iron and roll a front section back off your face...make sure you hold the barrel vertical.

Take another section and roll it forward. Keep alternating the curls direction as you do the rest of your head.

Choose a side and do the deep side part, lightly tousle and mist your hair with light hold hairspray and you're done!

Moving on to the face, being you're going with an emphasis on your lips, keep the rest polished, but subtle.

Use a light foundation to even out your skin tone and conceal.

One we love is Clinique Almost Powder Makeup ($23). It comes in a great range of colors, you can use a sponge or a brush to apply it, and it looks like your skin only better.

Use a really sheer powder blush in a nude to try is Clinique Soft Pressed Powder Blusher ($19).

Again...a great range of colors for a great price. Try the gorgeous Honey Blush or Chestnut Blush for a great sheer sweep of color that won't take away from your crimson pout.

For the lips, make sure you have a great base for the lip color. We'd suggest using a gentle scrub on your pucker to get rid of any dead skin...or use a wet washcloth to exfoliate. Then use a balm.

Use a lip brush to apply Clinique Different Lipstick in Double Fudge ($14) and then go over your lip line with their Quickliner for Lips ($14) in Deep Red.

Finish off with a coat or two of your favorite mascara and you're done!

With love (always),
