To be honest, I totally just had to go look up what galvanic was. I am not a big spa person - one massage in my whole 31 years. I loved every second of it but I digress. These treatments, through a gentle massaging action, help to focus cellular energy and enhance circulation. Apparently there is a pre-treatment with a gel that negatively charged with the Galvanic instrument and the negativity is what drives the gel into the skin, which then binds to the impurities. During the actual treatment, the gel and Galvanic instrument are then positively charged and attracts the negative impurities and draws them out of the skin. Leaving you with radiant, glowing skin....and there is your science lesson for the day.
