the twilight available for pre-order

So apparently they've come out with new Barbies that look like the main characters of the Twilight movie (soon to be movies).

The one on the left is obviously supposed to be Bella and the one on the right, Cullen.

In my opinion, Cullen looks pretty close to what the character looks like in the movie.  Bella on the other hand looks like every other Barbie that is created to look like a celeb and/or character...the Barbie face (and ridiculously proportioned body) with different colored eyes, different colored hair, and maybe a teensy bit of similarity to the original person.

Am I right?

Each doll is now available for pre-order on Amazon at $25 for Bella (on sale!) and about $30 for Cullen.

They won't actually be released until December 1st.

Just in time for the holidays!

Personally I think it would be a tad creepy to have a doll with your likeness.  It's very Twilight Zone as far as I'm concerned.

But, then again, it's not like Mattel is beating down my door trying to create one with my features.

Check them out now by clicking here.

Are you going to get one?

Those were my exact thoughts on the dolls! He looks pretty similar to Edward Cullen but the Bella doll, not so much. Definitely looks like Barbie with a different hair color! Maybe some other slight resemblance that I can't put my finger on. What's the deal with that? Oh well, people will surely go for it still!

lol cute idea but I really dont think that they look like the characters! Especially not the Bella Barbie, which if we are honest is normal Barbie with brown hair!

Faye: lol! You have to give me Cullen...he looks a little closer to the character. Although, there could just be good lighting and good shading involved. : )

Jackie: I know right!! I have yet to see a Barbie that looks anything like the person it was meant to look like. And I'm sure they'll sell like hotcakes to Twilight fanatics.

Thanks for stopping by you guys!
